Crumble Topping:

rolled oats

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F; grease a white ceramic baking dish.
Toss apples with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Taste and adjust the sweetness. Spread in dish.
Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; add melted butter for crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Serve in a white ceramic dish with powdered sugar, ice cream, and tea.
Notes
Use mixed apples for complex flavor.
Store in the fridge for 5 days or freeze for 3 months.
Try gluten-free or vegan variations.
Pair with caramel sauce.
