tube of crescent dough

butter

sugar

cinnamon

soda
Optional: Ice cream

Instructions
Peel, core, and cut apples into 8 wedges.
Wrap each in a crescent triangle.
Place in a greased 8x8 dish.
Melt butter, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Pour sauce over dumplings.
Add soda around the edges.
Bake at 350°F 35–40 min.
Rest 10 min.
Serve in a white ceramic dish.
Notes
Baste halfway.
Store in fridge 3 days or freeze 2 months.
Try a pear or a mini variation.
Pair with caramel.
