Baked Salmon Recipe: Tender and Flavorful

Tender baked salmon with lemon and herbs.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • Parchment or cooking spray
  • Optional: Dill sprigs lemon wedges
  • Suggested Pairings: Asparagus wine

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F; line a baking sheet.
  • Mix oil, garlic, lemon juice, zest, oregano, salt, pepper, and dill.
  • Pat the salmon dry; brush with the seasoning mix.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky (145°F).
  • Garnish with dill and lemon; serve with asparagus and wine.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon.
  • Store in fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
  • Try a spicy variation.
