Baked Spaghetti Squash Recipe: Tender and Versatile

Classic Baked Spaghetti Squash with tender, noodle-like flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash 2–3 lbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Optional: Fresh parsley Parmesan, red pepper flakes
  • Suggested Pairings: Marinara sauce white wine

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F; line baking sheet with parchment.
  • Cut squash in half, scoop out seeds; brush with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  • Bake cut-side down for 40–50 minutes until tender.
  • Scrape flesh into strands with a fork; toss gently.
  • Serve on a white ceramic platter with parsley, Parmesan, marinara, and wine.

Notes

  • Cut carefully; microwave to soften if needed.
  • Store in the fridge for 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
  • Try cheesy or pesto variations.
  • Pair with grilled chicken.
