Ingredients
  

  • cup balsamic vinegar
  • cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Optional: Fresh basil or thyme sprig
  • Suggested Pairings: White wine mixed greens

Instructions
 

  • Whisk vinegar, mustard, honey, garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  • Gradually whisk in olive oil until emulsified.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Rest 10–15 min (optional).
  • Serve in a white ceramic cruet with basil, thyme, wine, and greens.
