Ingredients
  

  • Jalapeños:
  • 1 pound fresh jalapeños sliced
  • Syrup:
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp celery seed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Topping Optional:
  • Extra syrup
  • Cracked pepper

Instructions
 

  • Wash and slice jalapeños into rings.
  • Combine sugar, vinegars, and seasonings in saucepan.
  • Heat mixture until sugar dissolves.
  • Simmer syrup briefly.
  • Add jalapeños to syrup.
  • Cook peppers until glossy and tender-crisp.
  • Transfer peppers to jars.
  • Reduce syrup until slightly thicker.
  • Pour syrup over jalapeños.
  • Chill before serving.
