Jalapeños:

fresh jalapeños
sliced
Syrup:

granulated sugar

cup
apple cider vinegar
⅓
cup
white vinegar

garlic powder

turmeric

Topping

Instructions
Wash and slice jalapeños into rings.
Combine sugar, vinegars, and seasonings in saucepan.
Heat mixture until sugar dissolves.
Simmer syrup briefly.
Add jalapeños to syrup.
Cook peppers until glossy and tender-crisp.
Transfer peppers to jars.
Reduce syrup until slightly thicker.
Pour syrup over jalapeños.
Chill before serving.
