Ingredients
  

  • Noodles:
  • 12 oz pancit bihon noodles
  • Protein:
  • 1 pound chicken
  • ½ pound shrimp optional
  • Vegetables:
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 green onions
  • Sauce:
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Topping:
  • Calamansi or lemon wedges
  • Green onions

Instructions
 

  • Soak noodles until softened and drain.
  • Prepare chicken and vegetables.
  • Cook chicken until browned and set aside.
  • Cook shrimp briefly if using.
  • Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  • Cook vegetables until slightly tender.
  • Add broth and sauce ingredients.
  • Add noodles and toss gently.
  • Return protein and heat through.
  • Serve with toppings.

Notes

Do not over-soak noodles
Prep ingredients before cooking
Use fresh calamansi if possible
