- 4 cups powdered sugar sifted
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 –4 tbsp heavy cream
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- Optional: Vanilla bean specks

Beat butter until creamy.
Add sugar 1 cup at a time on low.
Mix in vanilla and salt.
Add cream 1 tbsp at a time; beat until fluffy.
