all-purpose flour

baking powder

baking soda

tsp
salt

cold butter
cubed

cold buttermilk
1
tbsp
melted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F; line a baking sheet.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
Pat dough to 1-inch thick, fold 3 times, and pat to 3/4-inch. Cut biscuits.
Brush with melted butter; bake for 12-15 minutes.
Serve with honey, jam, eggs, and coffee.
Notes
Keep ingredients cold.
Store at room temperature for 2 days or freeze unbaked for 2 months.
Try a cheesy variation.
Pair with fruit.
