15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained

unsweetened cocoa powder

granulated sugar

maple syrup or honey

melted coconut oil or unsalted butter

vanilla extract

baking powder

semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F; line 9x9-inch pan with parchment.
Blend beans, eggs, cocoa, sugar, maple syrup, oil, and vanilla; taste and adjust.
Add baking powder, salt; fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into pan; bake 20–25 min; cool.
Cut into 16 squares; serve on a white ceramic platter with sugar, berries, coffee, and almond milk.
Notes
Blend beans thoroughly for smoothness.
Store at room temp for 3 days, fridge for one week, or freeze for 3 months.
Try a vegan or mocha variation.
Pair with ice cream.
