Instructions
Heat oil; cook chicken 6–8 min; remove from skillet.
Add bourbon, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger, pepper, and flakes; simmer.
Stir in cornstarch slurry; simmer until thickened.
Return chicken; toss to coat; taste and adjust.
Serve in a white ceramic dish with green onions.
Notes
Use thighs for a juicier texture.
Store in the fridge for 4 days or freeze for 2 months.
Try a gluten-free or spicy variation.
Pair with stir-fried vegetables.
