dark brown sugar

sugar

eggs

vanilla

chocolate chunks

walnuts

Instructions
Brown butter; cool 15 min.
Whisk flour, soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugars 2–3 min.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in flour until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate and nuts.
Chill dough 1 hr.
Scoop 2 tbsp balls.
Bake at 350°F 10–12 min.
Cool 5 min on the sheet.
Serve on a white ceramic platter.
Notes
Chill overnight for the best flavor.
Store 5 days or freeze 3 months.
Try the double chocolate variation.
