Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • lbs potatoes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • cups cheddar
  • ½ cup ketchup optional
  • Optional: Parsley
  • Suggested Pairings: Green beans rolls

Instructions
 

  • Mix meat layer; press into a 9×13 dish.
  • Bake 25 min at 375°F; drain fat.
  • Boil and mash potatoes with cheese.
  • Spread potatoes over meat; top with more cheese.
  • Optional ketchup glaze.
  • Bake 20–25 min until golden.
  • Rest 10 min; serve in a white ceramic dish.
