boneless skinless chicken breast or thigh
thinly sliced

vegetable oil

Chicken Marinade:

soy sauce

tbsp
cornstarch

tsp
baking soda
tenderizes chicken

white pepper
Vegetables:

cup
cabbage
shredded
1
large carrot
julienned
1
cup
bean sprouts
½
cup
snow peas or snap peas

green onions
sliced (white and green parts separated)

cloves
garlic
minced

fresh ginger

Chow Mein Sauce:

tbsp
oyster sauce

tbsp
soy sauce

tbsp
dark soy sauce
for color

hoisin sauce

tsp
sesame oil

tsp
sugar

chicken broth or water

cornstarch
for thickening
Instructions
Cook noodles; rinse cold.
Brown sausage; remove.
Sauté veggies + garlic.
Deglaze with wine/broth.
Add sauce + sausage.
Toss with noodles.
Serve hot.
Notes
• High heat = char
• Crisp noodles first
• Better with fresh noodles
• Try shrimp or veggie variation
