- 1 –2 tbsp granulated sugar optional
- Optional: Cocoa powder chocolate shavings

Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Heat cream until simmering; pour over chocolate.
Whisk until smooth; add butter, vanilla, and salt.
Taste and adjust with sugar; cool as needed.
Serve in a white ceramic bowl with cocoa, shavings; use on cakes, with strawberries.
