Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe: Warm Molten Delight

Warm, gooey chocolate lava cakes with a molten center, ideal for dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped (or chocolate chips)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • tsp salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp cocoa powder for dusting ramekins
  • Optional: 1/4 cup fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F; grease and dust four 6-oz ramekins.
  • Melt chocolate and butter; cool slightly.
  • Whisk sugar, eggs, yolks, and vanilla; stir in chocolate mixture.
  • Fold in flour and salt; divide into ramekins.
  • Bake 12-14 minutes until edges are set.
  • Invert onto plates; garnish with raspberries and serve.

  • Monitor baking time for gooey center.
  • Serve immediately with ice cream.
