- 1 ½ cups jasmine rice
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar optional
- Optional: Toasted coconut flakes chopped cilantro

Rinse rice until water runs clear; drain.
Combine rice, coconut milk, water, salt, and sugar in a saucepan; boil, then simmer 15–18 min.
The rest is 5 minutes, and the fluff is with a fork.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Toast coconut flakes (optional).
Serve in a white ceramic bowl with coconut, cilantro, chicken, and smoothie.
