Cookie Cake with a chewy, festive taste.
Ingredients
- 2¼ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- ½ cup butter frosting
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- Optional: Sprinkles
- Suggested Pairings: Ice cream milk
Instructions
- Whisk flour, soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars 2–3 min.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour until just combined.
- Fold in chips.
- Press into a 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 350°F 22–26 min.
- Cool completely.
- Pipe frosting border.
- Serve on a white ceramic stand.
Notes
- Undercook slightly for a chewy center.
- Store 2 days at room temperature or freeze 2 months.
