Creamy White Gravy:

reserved frying oil or butter

all-purpose flour

whole milk

Instructions
Mix flour, salt, pepper, and spices; whisk eggs and milk.
Dredge steaks in flour, egg, then flour again.
Fry at 350°F for 3–4 min per side; drain.
Make gravy: whisk oil and flour, add milk, salt, and pepper; cook until thick.
Taste and adjust the gravy.
Serve on a white ceramic platter with gravy, parsley, potatoes, and tea.
Notes
Maintain oil at 350°F for crispiness.
Store steaks in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months; gravy is best fresh.
Try a vegan or spicy variation.
