heavy cream

reserved pasta water

Instructions
Cook pasta until al dente; drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
Heat oil in a saucepan; cook garlic 1 minute.
Add cream and pesto; heat through for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper; cook 1–2 minutes.
Taste and adjust with salt or Parmesan.
Toss pasta with sauce; add pasta water if needed.
Serve in a white ceramic bowl with salad or bread.
Notes
Use fresh Parmesan for smoothness.
Store in the fridge for 3 days; do not freeze.
Try a vegan or vegetable variation.
Pair with a green salad.
