Crockpot Hot Chocolate Recipe: Rich and Creamy

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: Whipped cream mini marshmallows, cocoa powder
  • Suggested Pairings: Shortbread cookies coffee liqueur

Instructions
 

  • Combine milk, cream, chocolate chips, cocoa, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a 4-quart slow cooker. Whisk until smooth.
  • Cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness.
  • Ladle into white ceramic mugs, garnish with whipped cream, marshmallows, and cocoa. Serve with cookies and liqueur.

  • Store in the fridge for 3 days; do not freeze.
