Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Optional: Additional parsley
  • Suggested Pairings: Grilled shrimp white wine

Instructions
 

  • Mince garlic; chop parsley; juice lemon.
  • Melt butter over low heat in a saucepan.
  • Add garlic; cook 1–2 min until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; cook 1 min.
  • Add parsley; taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Serve warm in a white ceramic bowl with parsley, shrimp, and wine.

Notes

  • Keep the heat low to avoid burning garlic.
  • Store in fridge for 5 days or freeze for 2 months.
  • Try a vegan or creamy variation.
