Instructions
Slice carrots ½-inch thick.
Melt butter; add carrots, salt, and pepper.
Stir in honey, sugar, water, and thyme.
Cover; simmer 8–10 min.
Uncover; reduce to a glaze 3–5 min.
Taste and adjust.
Serve in a white ceramic bowl.
Notes
Cut evenly for tenderness.
Store in fridge 4 days.
Try the maple or orange variation.
Pair with white wine.
