- 3 ripe avocados
- ¼ cup red onion finely diced
- 1 small jalapeño seeded, finely diced (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 Roma tomato diced; 1 clove garlic, minced.
- For Serving: Tortilla chips vegetable sticks

Mash avocados in a bowl to the desired consistency.
