Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter cubed
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ –1 tsp salt
  • Optional: Flaky sea salt
  • Suggested Pairings: Ice cream coffee

Instructions
 

  • Melt sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Add butter; whisk until combined.
  • Slowly add cream; whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in vanilla and salt.
  • Cool for 10 minutes; transfer to a jar.
  • Taste and adjust salt.
  • Serve in a white ceramic bowl.
