Instructions
Mix milk, sugar, and yeast; let foam 5-10 min.
Add egg, butter, salt, and flour; knead 8-10 minutes.
Let the dough rise 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
Divide into 8 pieces; shape buns, rise 30-45 min.
Preheat oven to 375°F; brush with egg wash, add seeds.
Bake 15-18 minutes until golden.
Serve on a wooden tray with butter, burgers, and iced tea.
Notes
Check the milk temperature for yeast.
Store at room temperature for up to 3 days, and freeze for 2 months.
Try a vegan variation.
