Lemon Chicken Pasta Recipe: Bright Savory Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice from about 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain.
  • Season and cook chicken in 1 tbsp oil for 5-6 minutes per side; slice.
  • Sauté garlic in 1 tbsp oil; add lemon juice, zest, broth, and cream.
  • Simmer 3-4 minutes; stir in Parmesan and optional flakes.
  • Toss pasta and chicken in sauce, adding pasta water if needed.
  • Garnish with parsley; serve hot with extra Parmesan.
