Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Optional: Lemon slices fresh parsley
  • Suggested Pairings: Rice white wine

Instructions
 

  • Dredge chicken in flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet; cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until 165°F.
  • Melt 1 tbsp butter, cook garlic for 30 seconds. Add broth, lemon juice, zest, honey, mustard, and thyme. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  • Simmer sauce 3–5 minutes; return chicken, coat, and warm through.
  • Serve on a white ceramic platter with lemon slices, parsley, rice, and wine.

  • Use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
  • Store in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
