- ¼ cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 2 tbsp maple syrup optional, for added sweetness

- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg
- Optional: 1/4 tsp vanilla extract for warmth
- Optional: 2 tbsp chopped pecans or fresh chives for garnish
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into 1-inch chunks.
