Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef + ½ lb pork
  • ½ cup panko
  • 1 egg
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella
  • Hoagie rolls
  • Butter + garlic powder
  • Optional: Basil
  • Suggested Pairings: Salad chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix and roll meatballs.
  • Brown, then simmer in marinara 15–20 min.
  • Butter and garlic toast rolls.
  • Fill rolls with meatballs, sauce, and cheese.
  • Broil until cheese melts.
  • Garnish and serve on a white ceramic platter.

Notes

  • Freeze meatballs in sauce.
  • Store assembled subs wrapped in the fridge for 2 days.
  • Try buffalo or mini slider variation.
  • Pair with cold beer.
