- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- ½ cup water
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups peanuts
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1½ tsp baking soda
Boil sugar, syrup, water, and salt to 280°F.
Add peanuts; cook to 300°F (deep golden).
Remove from heat; stir in butter, vanilla, and baking soda.
Pour onto parchment; spread thin.
Cool completely; break into pieces.
