Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe: Creamy and Rich

Classic Peanut Butter Frosting with creamy, rich flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 –4 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt optional
  • Optional: Chopped peanuts chocolate drizzle
  • Suggested Pairings: Chocolate cupcakes milk

Instructions
 

  • Soften butter; sift powdered sugar.
  • Beat peanut butter and butter 2–3 min until creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt; beat until fluffy.
  • Add cream 1 tbsp at a time; taste and adjust sweetness or saltiness.
  • Spread or pipe onto cooled desserts.
  • Serve on a white ceramic stand with peanuts, chocolate drizzle, and milk.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture.
  • Store in fridge for 5 days or freeze for 2 months.
  • Try a vegan or chocolate variation.
