Ingredients

basmati rice

orzo

small onion

butter + 2 tbsp oil

broth
Bay leaf
Instructions
Sauté onion, toast orzo until golden.
Add rice + garlic; toast 2 min.
Add hot broth + seasonings.
Boil, then simmer covered 15–18 min.
Rest covered for 10 min off heat.
Fluff and add nuts/herbs.
Notes
Never lift the lid while cooking
