Spam Fried Rice Recipe: Crispy, Salty, Addictively Good

Crispy, salty, Hawaiian-Korean Spam fried rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Spam cubed
  • 4 cups cold cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion + 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup frozen peas & carrots
  • 3 –4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 green onions

Instructions
 

  • Crisp Spam until golden; remove.
  • Scramble eggs softly; remove.
  • Sauté onion, garlic, and veggies.
  • Add rice; fry on high 3–4 min.
  • Return Spam & eggs; season with soy/oyster.
  • Toss in green onions; serve hot.

Notes

• Cold rice = no mush
• High heat = best flavor
• Try kimchi or pineapple variation
• Midnight snack of champions
