Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • tsp yeast
  • ½ cup sugar
  • cup butter
  • ½ cup pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • cups flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup butter
  • Cream cheese icing
  • Optional: Orange zest
  • Suggested Pairings: Coffee cider

Instructions
 

  • Proof yeast in warm milk.
  • Mix in sugar, butter, pumpkin, eggs, and salt.
  • Knead in flour 5–7 min.
  • Rise 60–90 min.
  • Roll, fill with butter and spices.
  • Slice into 12; rise 30–45 min.
  • Bake at 350°F 22–28 min.
  • Ice while warm.
  • Serve on a white ceramic platter.

Notes

  • Knead until smooth.
  • Store 2 days at room temperature or freeze for 1 month.
  • Try maple or an overnight variation.
  • Pair with mimosa.
