espresso
cooled

coffee liqueur

egg yolks

sugar

mascarpone
1 ½
cups
heavy cream

ladyfingers

cocoa powder

Instructions
Mix espresso and liqueur.
Whisk yolks and sugar over a double boiler for 5-7 minutes; cool.
Whisk in mascarpone; fold in whipped cream.
Dip ladyfingers in the coffee mix and layer in a 9x9-inch dish with cream. Repeat.
Chill for 4 hours.
Dust with cocoa, garnish with shavings; serve with berries and coffee.
Notes
Don’t oversoak ladyfingers.
Store in fridge for 3 days, do not freeze.
Try a non-alcoholic variation.
Pair with wine.
