Ingredients
  

  • Turkey Burgers:
  • 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Toppings:
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion optional
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or avocado aioli
  • Optional: Pickles cheese, parsley
  • Suggested Pairings: Sweet potato fries iced tea

Instructions
 

  • Mix turkey, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  • Form 4 patties with a center indent.
  • Heat oil in a skillet; cook patties 4-5 minutes per side until 165°F.
  • Toast buns 1-2 min.
  • Spread mayo on buns; add lettuce, patty, tomato, onion, and optional toppings.
  • Serve on a white ceramic platter with parsley, fries, and iced tea.

Notes

  • Use 93% lean turkey for juiciness.
  • Store in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
  • Try vegan or gluten-free variations.
  • Pair with coleslaw.
