Tzatziki Sauce Recipe: Creamy and Tangy

- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cup cucumber grated and drained
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp fresh mint chopped (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: Fresh dill mint, olive oil
- Suggested Pairings: Pita bread white wine
Grate cucumber, drain excess liquid using cheesecloth.
Mix yogurt, cucumber, garlic, dill, mint, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
Chill for 30+ minutes.
Serve in a white ceramic bowl with dill, pita, vegetables, and wine.
- Drain the cucumber well to avoid watery sauce.
