Vodka Sauce Recipe: Creamy and Vibrant

Classic Vodka Sauce with creamy tomato base.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • ¼ cup vodka
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Optional: Fresh basil Parmesan
  • Suggested Pairings: Pasta white wine

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil, sauté onion 4–5 minutes; add garlic, red pepper flakes, cook 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes, vodka; simmer 10 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  • Stir in cream, simmer 5 minutes.
  • Adjust consistency with water if needed.
  • Serve in a white ceramic bowl with basil, pasta, and wine.

  • Use high-quality tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • Store in the fridge for 5 days or freeze for 3 months.
