Waffle Recipe: Crisp and Fluffy

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Optional: Powdered sugar berries
  • Suggested Pairings: Maple syrup coffee

Instructions
 

  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients; don’t overmix.
  • Preheat waffle iron, grease lightly.
  • Pour 1/2 cup batter per waffle, cook 3-5 minutes until golden.
  • Dust with sugar, top with berries; serve with syrup, coffee.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix batter for fluffiness.
  • Store in fridge 3 days, freeze 2 months.
  • Try a vegan variation.
  • Pair with juice.
