Ingredients

pan drippings or butter

all-purpose flour

whole milk

kosher salt
Instructions
Heat drippings/butter in the skillet.
Whisk in flour; cook 2–3 min.
Slowly add milk, whisking constantly.
Simmer until thickened.
Season aggressively with pepper + salt.
Serve hot over biscuits.
Notes
• Use drippings for the best flavor
• Fresh cracked pepper = everything
